Chinese Medicine Service, provided by PTU Health Project Medical Centre, started on 18th of March. Our service has been initiated with a view to progress to integrative medicine, which provides medical care with practitioners from different modalities that allow them to work as a team in solving patients”¦ medical problems. Nowadays, Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) has been gaining its acceptance because biomedicine, which is expensive and high-technological, the evidence-based approach of which has shown to fall short of expectation. Some illnesses which can be benefited from the TCM approach include chronic pain conditions, anxiety disorders and mood disorders, cancer therapy where excessive side effects of chemotherapy and radiotherapy are experienced, women”¦s diseases and hoarseness of voice acute . We offer TCM and integrated medicine in a safe environment with biomedical instrumentation, experienced and professional doctors.
