A MAGIC formula for effective English learning
To help upper Primary and lower Secondary students to learn English in an effective and enjoyable way, it is suggested that the MAGIC formula be adopted (M=memorable, A=appropriate, G=graded, I=interesting, C=contextualized). An A-J English Grammar for Young Chinese Learners with story-based exercises provides exactly that. This book offers at least two stories to illustrate a grammar item and there are additional exercises (with answer keys) as well as classroom activities for teachers. It can be used by students as supplementary work during term time/ summer vacation or by teachers as textbooks in school.

「教協英語組」於2002年舉行了一個「如何用故事教授文法」的講座，當中關於香港學生最常犯的文法錯誤已編輯成教材套，以故事及活動深化學生的文法知識及應用。十個單元，附故事練習（備答案）。適合高小至初中的學生作課內外的補充。
