The Teachers of Early Childhood Education should no longer tolerate the authority's negligence over the Education Voucher Scheme

PTU is mobilising the teachers to join the petition in response to this dispute.
Other teachers are also welcome!

Organized by PTU and 10 Early Childhood Education Organisations, the petition needs all teachers, parents and pupils from Kindergartens and Nursery Schools to participate.Numerous problems are found in the scheme, the teachers should stand out for their interests! We are striving for:
  1. The implementation of a Pay Scale. Before that, allowance should be paid immediately to the teachers according to their qualifications.
  2. Improving the proportion and provision of gap lessons for teachers. Moreover, the government should review the School Self-evaluation (SSE) and External School Review (ESR). Supporting staff should also be provided to deal with the administrative procedure incurred.
  3. Reviewing the calculation of subsidy to Full-day and Nursery Schools in order to aid both teachers and pupils.
  4. Waiving the ceiling of the tuition exemption and adjusting the amount according to the price index in order to ensure the that low-income families are aided.

The concerns of teachers of Early Childhood Education are always ignored by the government. We are urging all teachers, of no matter which level of education, to join this petition.
