Effective Learning for English (Upper Primary)

AIM

● To learn English through interactive activities
● To enhance students' self-esteem through collaborative learning and group activities
● To make use of team momentum in problem solving
● To develop students' confidence in speaking English by immersing them in a setting of English environment
● To consolidate the learning by exercise and assessment

● To learn different types of writing styles, including report, brochure, article, diary, instruction menu, proposal, letter and story

● To read and to understand short passages and other English materials

COURSE STRUCTURE

Number of Students
● The expected class size will be 15 divided into 5 groups of 3 students.

Duration
● The total contact-hour of a module will be 15 hours. Each module lasts four weeks approximately. Therefore, there will be three sessions in a week with lessons of 75 minutes.

Instructor
● The instructors of the programme are qualified teachers with Bachelor Degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Education.

Venue
● For the convenience of students, the programme will be held in school.

● We will discuss with the related subject teachers on the learning progress of the students and address to the specific needs of individual students
