Community College of City University (CCCU) announced in February that starting from 2016/17, parttime mode of the Associate of Social Science in Social Work Program would no longer be accept new students. A group of program students and graduates have therefore organized a “Concern Group on the Associate of Social Science in Social Work Program of CCCU” to struggle for retaining the program and they have asked Fung Wai-wah (President of HKPTU) and Ip Kin-yuen (Representative of Legco)’s assistance in this matter. 教協理事會於 4月11日，向全體會員發出問卷，徵詢擬推薦副會長葉建源代表本會，參加 2016 年立法會教育界選舉的意見。截至4月27日，回覆問卷逾一萬四千份，回收率為 14.82%。扣除無意見及無效回覆，贊成的會員佔 88.19%，反對的會員佔 11.81%。
代表教協會的立法會議員是葉建源，相信大家都知道。原來教協的理事中還有另一位立法會議員，可能有些會員未必知道。上屆立法會參選九龍西並當選的黃碧雲議員，連續兩屆在本會理事會擔任秘書職務，1999年開始在理工大學通識教育中心當講師的她，雖然不是代表教協會，但過去4年在教育議題上均與本會立場一致，並與葉建源合作無間，既向政府提出教育建議，也推動會務發展，是教協會推動教育事務一位最堅實的戰友。
7. 第二十七屆好書龍虎榜及第十三屆書叢榜頒獎典禮
自從校本條例生效以後，大部分學校都成立了法團校董會。根據《教育條例》（第279章）第40BN條，成為法團的校董會屬「法人團體」（body corporate），可獨立起訴或被起訴。而根據第40BI條，只要個別校董在履行其校董職能時「真誠行事」（act in good faith），基本上他/她都不會招致任何民事法律責任。 
時任終審法院常任法官陳兆愷於高翰儒案（FACV 8/2011）中有以下意見：“Teaching is an honourable vocation… There are many who consider that it is important to provide greater protection for teachers in their employment in order to attract high quality to join the profession. This concern is apparently shared by the Education Authority and is, to some extent, reflected in the relevant provisions of the Code of Aid…” 
有不少同工向本部反映，部分學校在與他們簽約時，未有給予他們足夠時間細閱合約內容，令教師在簽約時感到很大壓力，在不完全了解合約內容的情況下，便與學校簽訂合約。其實，員工看清楚合約內容才簽名確認同意協議條款，正正是員工對個人、對學校負責的表現。此外，本會十分關注教育局在發出法團校董會適用的《資助學校資助則例》時，刪除了有關教師過了兩年試用期後的聘用條文，嚴重影響教師的職業保障。故此，本會去信要求教育局重新加入有關條文。 
學校本應是安全，並且有足夠的教學空間，讓學校可有效地推動教育多元化發展，讓學生可有接受平等教育的機會。但現實裡卻有不少學校仍在長年累月忍受校舍環境擠迫、四周滲水、鋼筋外露，甚至備受石屎剝落和危險斜坡的威脅，對於同在公營學校教與學的師生公平嗎？對於學校因為教育局政策失當而被限制發展又合理嗎？
